Got this in the mail and it has a pretty good sized dent in the rim as you can see.
Don’t know much about cans so wanted to ask here.

So here we can in glass jars not metal.
However, in my opinion, that is a rather tiny dent and it’s probably fine.
If you don’t feel comfortable eating it though then it’s better to just toss.

You are fine. Dinted cans are fine as long as they are not rusty. Bloated cans, however, are bad… very, very, very bad. But they make great targets at the range when they are bloated!
