So obviously this isn’t an “authentic” Sandwich Cubano but it definitely captures that South Florida flavor profile and hits the spot nicely. Sadly, Cuban bread is very high calorie, so we make do.
I included a messy one and a neat one in the pictures 🙂
This looks absolutely amazing! Bet there’s lots of protein too.

I’m upvoting because not just because of S. Fl and cuban sandwiches but the fact that this is a healthy yet proper cuban sandwich regardless of the bread style.

Yum!! I love these kinds of ideas– you feel like you’re cheating but it’s actually lower calorie than a lot of salads you get from restaurants
