I empty my knock box weekly. It leaves the kitchen with a nice aroma of coffee. My knock box currently holds 9 pucks. Is this unsanitary?

Not at all unsanitary, it seems to me, as long as you don’t see mold, etc., in which case I would empty and wash out more frequently.

I make around 5 shots a day between me and my wife, so have to empty out every couple days. I sometimes retain a couple pucks, either to spread in the garden or for skincare

Cannot compost as I live in a condo.

When it is full, which sometimes is too late if I am in a rush in the morning. Side note: I mix the pucks with ash from charcoal grill and fire pit to make soil amendment.
