Hey team.
I am looking to get a new grill and can’t seem to find any comprehensive comparisons between the Weber Genesis II, Broil King Regal and Napoleon LEX/ Prestige.
I saw a post from 2019 on this forum with regard to Weber vrs Broil King be can’t find anything for 2020. I was hoping there is newer information out and that the reddit grilling community could help with and many others in the same situation as me and weigh the pros and cons before I doll out $ on a new bbq.
3 points for background:
1. I’m an moderately to experienced BBQ griller. I grill year round in Canada and currently located in the Prairies. I bought a Sterling 4 burner BBQ ($500) from Rona in 2013 for $100 bucks assembled because they were dumping inventory before moving to a new store. It was cheap and its done its job, on to the next one hopefully lasting 10 years.
2. I started my search with Napoleon, but as I dug in I couldn’t confirm where some of the grills were manufactured/assembled. I started to think maybe I was just brand name chasing which opened me up to Weber grills. Today I was looking at the Weber Genesis II E-435 and S-335 at Rona, and the guy who helped me was talking up his Broil King and went into a rant about the value etc. So now I’m at a 3 way cross roads because I thought I was getting a Weber.
3. I’m buying propane bbq and will be getting a smoker later in the year. I do want to buy something truly made and built in Canada or the USA.

So this is now a long post (sorry not sorry) but if there are some well versed BBQ aficionados out that can offer some expertise, I’d be really greatful!
