  1. Just finished making these – the frosting is a better, creamier version of a Reeses peanut butter cup filling – knocked it out of the park once again…Thanks so much

  2. 'Lurking'? Does flour lurk? 🙂 Brilliant idea for the cupcake sandwich.

  3. Can you make a video on how to make Matcha Chocolate Chip Cookies next? 😀

  11. I love your videos and recipes! Especially all the chocolate, cheesecakes, and peanut butter stuff 😍
Plus, the way you talk and your mannerisms make it feel like a friend is just helping me cook really good food. Just like a really genuine, kind person who would make you some cookies if you're having a bad day or the friend who makes sure that you're eating, and if not, they'd whip you up something real quick but you can taste the love in the food lol

  12. I just taught some friends to take the bottom off and make a sandwich. I’ve been doing this for years! They thought I was a genius! Haha thanks for doing the same cool trick!

  13. I noticed you used a wet measuring cup for dry ingredients a few times isn’t there a huge difference between dry and wet measuring

  14. OMG! I made these and my husband loved them. They turned out beautifully. I’m definitely getting your cook book. Thank You!❤

  15. Is the difference in baking because you're not using the oven fan? The recipe doesn't state if fan on or off, so I'm unsure.

  16. John can you please tell us what brand of food coloring you use for your cakes and cupakes when coloring? I'm lost on where to start? I do not want a bad tasting food coloring for my customers or one that you cannot wash off. TYIA

  17. Hi John, do you have caramel pecan chocolate cluster recipe? I'd love to make this for valentines day for my parents.

  19. If i try this i would add chocolate chips to the cupcake part and maybe add coffee to the frosting 🤔

  20. I made these today, but I also added 1 mashed banana to it and it was delicious! 10/10 would recommend, I'm sure they would also work with chocolate and/or berries

  21. I tried this tonight and unfortunately it was very bland. It was very fluffy and moist but it just had no flavour. I followed everything as written and as per the video. I didn't make the icing though so I wonder if that played a big part. Love your other recipes though

  22. Can you substitute regular peanut butter for PB 2 powdered peanut butter

  23. You get it wrong, I tried with the natural peanut butter that have no sugar but little bit of oil that I also use in the recipe instead of normal oil and they delicious much better, very very rich in peanut buttery flavour. Very rich taste.

  24. Hello John, I absolutely love your recipes and everything about you! I’ve asked on you website but was wondering if this frosting would be good for a three layer cake? If so do I need to double the recipe? Thank you so much ☺️

  25. Turned out great, with sm crisp edges~
Had sm 18% fat sour cream which didnt quite have the water content for this so leveled it out w sm greek youghurt. Batter was still rather thick, thinned it out w a dash of 35% cream folded in.
Got to admit that only 4/5th of the sugar was put in, couldn't help myself.
Had to run before I could make the icing so tried it w sm of that high fat sour cream and the tang was peeeerfect.
Will definitely be making these again~

  26. I have baked this twice already, everyone loves it. It is so moist and delicious. You have to try it, it is so easy.

  27. Would NUTELLA work in place of the peanut butter in both the cake and frosting? Thanks. LOVE YOUR SHOW!
