Cheese fondue is one of those iconic recipes that I’ve never gotten around to filming. One of those reasons was the lack of a proper fondue set, but that changed after a trip to a second hand store. With that excuse gone, I was down to finding an authentic recipe that would be both easy, and foolproof. Enjoy!

  1. I use Gruyere and Emmental as well but add in some Appenzeller (1/4 as much as the others) which is the recipe I learned while staying in Thun.

  2. back in the 70s my mother made the best fondue you ever put in your mouth! We weren't well off so it was a pretty big treat

  3. Not trying to hate, but i just realized that the speaker doesn't properly accent his sentences. He raises his voice at off times during his sentences which really started to bother me. I love foodwishes, but it is what it is.

  4. I've tried this recipe a few times and personally found it works better without the cornstarch.

  5. I think the vegetarians would be more upset about non vegetarian rennin than somone dipping. Now for someone who dosn't eat pork its a different story. I don't really see why you even made the comment.

  6. the inflection used in your videos is good. The fuxxer at GOOGA FOODS pissrs me off so much I blocked his channel. I hate that guy.

    Chef John does not do this.

  7. loOl 😄😂🤣😆 You always cheer up my day when ever I look at your videos, Many Thanks for that !! Heard somewhere that the garlic help prevent the cheese from sticking too the pan if you rub it with 🙂 …And also perfume if you take it out after, No glasses needed 😁 🙂
