Hi John, have you ever thought of buying a wok as it works wonders for deep frying as well as for stir fry and even steaming? Actually buy one out of a kitchen supply store like in Chinatown as these have the carbon steel woks.
Now I see butter milk is the culprit to darkening the crust of your chicken. I am certain its tasty.

Hey John, I am in love with ur videos. They are motivating honest and fun to make. However I do have a suggestion that you can also make a series of eggless confectioneries. I struggled making eggless lava cake and have failed idk 40 times. Honestly eggless recipes like lava cake will help a lot especially for the smaller demand like vegans or vegetarians. I've never had waffles with chicken and syrup. Where I grew up, waffles were most likely served with chicken and gravy.. It was one of our more common meals after church because it is quick to get on the table. My husband grew up with waffles and syrup and never chicken gravy. Chicken and waffles with syrup seems like a tasty compromise.

If you want some extra pizzazz, you can add bourbon to your maple syrup. If you want things G rated, simply heat the mixture in a saucepan to cook out the alcohol.
I don't make this nearly as often as I'd like and it's mainly because I hate the mess and hassle of dredging & frying things. But the end result is usually worth it. Craving this food right now! 😋

I just had chicken and waffles for the first time in my life (37) and it was an out of this world. I'm Irish so it's not a normal item on a menu to see. Absolutely gonna try this. Looks delicious. May have to cheat a little with bought waffles as I'm not ready to commit to a waffle pan 😅
