  1. We pour ours in a casserole dish, top w cheddar cheese, and bake just to melt the cheese, maybe 15 min. So good. Family comfort food.

  2. FINALLY a goulash recipe that uses bay leaves 😊. That’s the secret to grandpa’s best goulash 😍

  3. I just went to print the recipe from the link and found it is quite different than Nicole's video. Allrecipes needs to get its act together!!

  4. I think you need to check the recipe in your link to the one in the video. very different on ingredients. not good

  5. One of the unforgettable memories while I was in Budapest 1979 That’s what i ate Same restaurant I go every day The last day restaurant owner lady said I don’t want charge you anything . She asked me would you like to come & visit us again my answer was not sure. While I was living in Toronto Knows your background family well. Some time I go their House & call paprika .

  6. I make mine with penne, shredded Parm and feta and I just use spaghetti sauce from the jar if I have it on hand

  7. THIS IS NOT GOULASH!!! If you served this to a Hungarian they would slap you around the room! This is midwestern garbage. Eat it if you want, but NEVER CALL THIS GOULASH!!!

  8. Yum Yum! Kind of a chili with pasta instead of beans. This is a keeper for when we have company

  9. Just shows how food doesn't need to be expensive if you have some basic skills & a great cook to show her recipes

  10. Made this the other day. Left overs are even better. Was my first time making goulash. A favorite now in my house! Thank you! ❤️😋

  11. We just had goulash a couple of days ago, and I’ve been eating it my whole life!😉❤️

  12. The website recipe is not what you are putting in it. Says soy sauce not Worcestershire sauce and doesn't say bell pepper

  13. I love goulash I remember eating this as a kid and I also learned how to make it I sometimes add corn to it you could also add beans and potatoes either way they all come out good I’m gonna make some tonight I haven’t had it in years and this recipe it looks delicious

  14. This is a ground beef stew, not a goulash. It has some parts of the recipes for real goulash but not quite, it's missing some essential points. First of all goulash is not cooked with ground beef. The major secret of goulash is that you get the taste from the browned big chunks of beef. You can't do that with ground beef. Second major part is the spices. Caraway and marjoram can't be replaced by thyme. Worcester sauce is a big no no. And no green pepper please, that's just not good for the goulash, you're making completely different meal. Canned tomatoes are quite ok, but you should use tomato paste because you can sizzle it. You can't sizzle canned tomatoes. So to whoever reads this: after you try this recipe, try to make a real Goulash and you'll see how much better it is than this american version. Real goulash has been done for hundreds of years practically the same way a nd for a good reason. This is not goulash, it's just inspired by it slightly but quite different and it will lack the specific and unique taste goulash is famous for so you're kinda missing the whole point of making goulash. So even though this might be a nice meal, it is something totally different from goulash.
