Active: 15 min
Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

1 large head cauliflower
3 tablespoons good olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (2 ounces)
1 cup freshly grated Gruyere cheese (2 ounces)

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Remove the outer green leaves from the cauliflower and cut the head into florets, discarding the stems. Place the florets on a sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle generously with salt and pepper. Toss well. Bake for 30 minutes, tossing once, until the cauliflower is tender and starts to brown. Sprinkle with the Parmesan and Gruyere and bake for 1 to 2 more minutes, just until the cheese melts. Season to taste and serve hot or warm.

How to Make Ina’s Parmesan-Roasted Cauliflower | Barefoot Contessa: Cook Like a Pro | Food Network

  1. Now this barefoot contessa knows how to cook. I’ve tried many baked cauliflower recipes but I must admit this one is the best. Little things like adding parsley make a big difference. I steamed mine for 5 minutes because I found them to be very hard if I didn’t.

  2. I love roasted cauliflower and this recipe looks delicious but not as healthier after adding cheese

  3. I found putting the florets in a large bowl and toss with the EVOO & seasonings It helps to coat them better. I also line my sheet pan with foil just makes clean up easier. Try tossing 1 head w/ 1/4c EVOO mixed w/5 shakes of Franks hot sauce and shake garlic salt on once poured onto sheet pan. YUM

  4. Mmmm, from the field to your kitchen, straight to the oven ?, did you ever hear about washing your vegetables (or fruit) before eating them?!!!

  5. Ina has the best warmest energy as the person and the best recipes as a cook 👩‍🍳 . Love ❤️ from Texas

  6. Wow, the Olive Oil industry, or the Mafia, has really pushed cooks, meal services, restaurants and cooking shows to pour on the Olive Oil like water. So much oil. Same with salt … why do they always show cooks heaving handfuls of salt onto everything?

  7. This is a carefully prepared dish. I always like that kind of food because it is rich in nutrients. Thanks for sharing 👏👏👏

  8. We barbecue the cauliflower whole. Take out the core. Spray the entire head with olive oil, sprinkle with minced garlic and completely wrap with foil. BBQ 20 to 30 minutes until you can poke with a sharp knife, unwrap the foil and immediately sprinkle with fresh grated Parmesan. Delicious.

  9. I do not support this woman after the way she treated cancer stricken children!!

  10. My stomach is growling watching this cauliflower. 😂

It’s so COOL when healthy food thrills us.
