►1/2 red bell pepper, finely diced
►1 medium onion (1 cup), finely diced
►3 Tbsp unsalted butter, divided
►3 Tbsp olive oil, divided
►2 large eggs
►3 Tbsp mayo
►1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
►1 tsp old bay seasoning or cajun, or to taste
►1/2 tsp garlic salt, or to taste
►1/2 tsp black pepper
►1 lb lump crab meat (from 2 Dungeness crabs)
►1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
►1/4 cups parsley, finely chopped

  1. Am 72 yo ( not grandma yet) fan of yours. About a week ago, we ordered crab cakes in a restaurant, $5 each, (not bad) but not in my taste. I’ve decided to make my own. I followed your recipe step by step, including the aioli sauce. Wow 🤩 thank goodness, it turned out as the best crab cakes we’ve eaten.

  2. Looks easy going to make this week. First time. Made them last night family went back for seconds. I let sit fridge for 3 hours. Overly moist I will add a bit more panko next time.

  7. yeah Maryland crab cakes we dont put any that stuff in crab cakes. just lump meat, mayo hand full of cracker curmbs, and old bay. THATS IT

  11. Great recipe, turned out great. One of the other recipes on another channel had you adding 1/2 cup mayonaise which made the first batch not setup firm. This video was perfect!

  12. Added a smidge of dill to the aioli and sautéed in a cast iron skillet…. Otherwise I followed to a tee….awesome recipe….!!!
