Blackberry Cobbler is a delicious, healthier choice if you’re looking for a fantastic dessert that the whole family is sure to love without feeding them High Fructose Corn Syrup or Mono-sodium Glutamate.

You can pick your blackberries yourself, or you can buy them at the farmer’s market or grocery store. Even frozen blackberries taste great in a blackberry cobbler.

From the time I can remember I picked blackberries with my mom, my granny and my aunt Dot. Blackberry cane briars can really be painful! The briars are hooked and they can break off in your skin. We used to go home after picking blackberries and pick the briars out of our skin. Be careful if you’ve never picked them.

Ingredients:

4 cups – Blackberries
1 cup – Sugar
1 cup – All purpose flour
1 – Egg
1 teaspoon – Real vanilla extract
1/2 cup – Real butter

I'm pretty sure there won't be enough to do anything but snack on them out of hand but maybe in years to come I'll get those 13 quarts per plant the catalogue writeup claimed!
