Lavash is one of my favorite breads because it’s so easy to make with just a large pan and staple ingredients. It’s great for breakfasts, for quick sandwiches, wraps but most importantly for kebabs.

I’ve made video for a no yeast, easy version of lavash (link to the video below) and today we are making the leavened version which is soft, chewy, little bit fluffy and absolutely perfect for making a wrap with your favorite kebabs.

Ingredients:
• 300 g flour (00 or any high protein bread flour)
• 200 g water (luke warm)
• 10 g dry yeast
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 tsp salt

  2. First time watching your channel, heck yeah, I love it, simple and straight to the point, with great epic food music (and volume level) at the right moments, plus sifting the flour is old school practices which people just do not do anymore, a sign of quality content.

  3. Your video says "tbsp" for the salt and sugar and "tsp" for the dry yeast and your description says "tsp" for the salt and sugar and 10g for the yeast. These are completely inconsistent. I'm assuming it doesn't really matter.

  5. Can i cook the dough on a non stick pan/teflon?? If it's not work, do you have another suggestion which is easier to find and everyone uses it

  8. In the video, it says 1 tbsp sugar, in the description it says 1 tsp sugar. Similarly in the video it says 10 grams yeast, in the description it says 1 tsp yeast? Can you please sort out that confusion in the measurements. I tried your recipe. 1st time perfect. Second time turned out hard. Anyways great channel. U recipes are simple to follow for amateur cooks like me. Thanks a lot! 🙏

  9. There is one thing I don't understand. In american recipes there are often references to all kinds of flour, like high protein flour? What are the european equivalent? Here in Denmark we have different kinds but based on wheat types like Emmer, Einkorn and Spelt?
