Shopping List:
Waffles:
2 eggs
2 cups all purpose flour
1 3/4 cup whole milk
1/2 cup melted butter
3 -4 tbsps sugar
4 tsps baking powder
pinch of salt
1-2 tsps vanilla extract
Butter – Syrup – Cooking Spray – Waffle Maker

Fried Chicken:
Chicken Wings & boneless skinless thighs
1 gallon peanut oil (or vegetable, canola etc)
2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 cup corn starch
2 quarts buttermilk
1/4 cup hot sauce
salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, sazon, adobo, cayenne pepper

Directions:
For the waffles, mix your dry ingredients together and mix wet ingredients separately. Then pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients – whisking constantly until a batter is formed. Heat waffle maker and spray with cooking spray. Add batter and cook until waffles are golden brown. You can keep them warm and crispy in a 200 degree oven if you need time to finish the remainder of your food.

Chicken:
Clean and dry chicken. Season with a light coat of all purpose seasoning or whatever you like on poultry. In a large mixing bowl, add 2 quarts of buttermilk, hot sauce, and seasonings. Submerge chicken and soak for 2-4 hours. Mix together flour and corn starch and season flour to taste. Shake off excess buttermilk from chicken and then coat evenly in flour. Place on a wire rack for 10-15 minutes to allow the flour to adhere to the meat. Heat oil to 350 degrees and fry in batches until white meat reaches at least 165 and dark meat reaches 175. Enjoy!
