In this video, Nicole shows you how to make the classic simple meal, Italian sausage with peppers and onions. To prepare this recipe, dice an onion and slice both a green and red pepper. Now, brown the sausage over the stove using water and olive oil. Once the sausage has browned, sautée the veggies with salt, pepper, and minced garlic thrown in. Finally, deglaze the pan with white wine and add the sausage back in with the onion and peppers. Whether you eat it on its own or on a bread roll with mustard, this dinner dish is low effort and delicious!

  1. Exactly the way I make sausage and peppers! And fennel forward Italian sausage is the best. Love your videos Nicole! ❤️

  2. Love it, love it, loooooove it! I’ve got Italian sausage in my freezer I was going to save for the 4th. After watching this video, they may not make it.

  3. Sooo wish magic was real. I would seriously reach thru the screen and snatch that sandwich right from you. I too prefer cutting up the sausage. I hate that now I think I'm gonna change my dinner menu to sausage with peppers and onion sandwich. DEEE-LICIOUS damn it!! Thanks so much for sharing. Arlene

  4. Red pepper flakes in the pan (need some heat)…and then drizzle a little Ital dressing and parm on the sammie. Mustard does sound good though.

  5. Wouldn't you take off the sausage casing? I know the sausage wouldn't stay in the right shape, but I've only used Italian sausage in lasagna, so always removed the casing.

  6. Nicole. You are so cute that everything matches on you
