  3. Yummy I make my pesto like Nicole's and then freeze the remaining individually in an ice cube tray so they are ready for other meals when pesto is called for. I'll try adding some lemon juice next time. 😃

  4. For years, Nicole managed to give us killer videos without distracting, low-droning music. Now, however, the post editor manages to wantonly botch it all up with valueless music beds. (Probably a UAB College of Arts and Sciences dropout.)

  5. Ingredients
    3 cups packed fresh basil leaves
    ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
    ½ cup olive oil
    ¼ cup pine nuts
    4 cloves garlic, or to taste
    2 teaspoons lemon juice, or more to taste (optional)
    Directions
    Combine basil, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, pine nuts, and garlic in the bowl of a food processor or blender. Blend to a smooth paste. Add lemon juice, if desired, and quickly pulse to combine.

  8. nothing is better than true mortar and pestle made pesto . Game changer! fyi you can freeze batches and have great pesto well into the winter.
