Creamy Cajun Shrimp and Sausage Pasta Ingredients
1 lb. medium or large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 link Andouille Sausage or Smoked Sausage
12 ounces Fettuccine Pasta
4 – 5 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
2/3 cup Parmesan, grated
1 cup Heavy Cream
1 cup Chicken Stock
1/2 cup Crushed Tomatoes
1 tsp Brown Sugar
3 Garlic Cloves
3 tsp Creole Seasoning (Creole Kick)
1 Red Bell Pepper, diced small
1/2 Yellow Onion, diced small
1/2 large Yellow Bell Pepper, diced small
Kosher Salt and Fresh Ground Black Pepper to taste
1 tbsp Parsley for garnish (optional)

  2. so I'm always inspired by you thank you so much for the simple ingredients that can take your meal to the next level for folk like me that don't know how to cook yea I'm from Alabama but i didn't get the cooking part. about my dinner I had a lil Eckrich sausage in the fridge. I had some fettucine chicken flavor noodles in a pack from Walmart or the dollar tree or family dollar store brand. It the noodles be hitting for a dollar and a lil change so I always have a couple packs in the pantry. Then of course some frozen shrimp in the bag from target. I usually fry chicken tenders from chicken breast with corn but I needed to use what I had on hand which was the ingredients from your tutorial with some scallop green onions cut up to give the meal color and my daughter said its giving Louisiana gumbo it was risky cause I like the noodles itself but I or my daughter never had smoked sausage with shrimp together but if I'm real we have them with the shrimp boils that the restaurants prepare for us but at home we never prepared the two meats together but I'm happy my daughter liked this meal.

  12. Maybe I missed it or the recipe doesnt call for it but if you reserve a little bit of the pasta water you can add it to the sauce before the noodles go in it will help the sauce bind to the noodles. Either way, looks mad good.

  15. Great recipe. I would've done the pasta last. Running it under cold water rinces off all the delicous starches. Big no no in my books. But definitely great recipe!
