  1. I first ate a Cuban sandwich while working in Key West in the winter of 94 and 95. I also got hooked on Con Lachie, Cuban coffee. When I got back home to Virginia my wife and I went into this Yuppie coffee shop. I asked if they knew how to make me a Con Lachie. So I described it and the waitress said you mean you want a Latte. I had a long ZZ Top beard and a long pony tail and asked her if I and asked her if I look like the kind of man that would order something called a Latte. Real men and hairy legged women don't order a Latte or put a slice of fruit in their beer or ale. I doubt real cowboys do either.

  2. Im from a little town called Pueblo, Colorado. and we also have green chiles. our signature dish is called a slopper, and its smothered in green chile stew with pork. both new mex and pueblo are known for it, and theres sometimes some clashing about which is better,. I think both are awesome haha anywho, just thought id share. love your videos!

  3. Best Cuban I ever had was in Fort Myers. Ooh, that was tasty! Thank you for your content.

  4. Might not matter too much because you wrapped them, but it's safer to use firebricks (they won't break up)

  5. Love your videos!
FYI- processed meat is really bad for dogs 💯😪

  6. Gonna try this soon thanks! You coming back to OKC for booking signing anytime soon?

  7. 2nd generation american-cuban, this is miami-approved. Our family is greatful for everything that the U.S. stands for and this video is proof of how wonderful this country has been to us. Like and subscribe this channel!

  8. As someone from Tampa, I can vouch and say that’s the closest to a genuine Cuban you’ll get outside Florida… Now don’t let me hear you say that we added what Miami took out of the sandwich 😂

  9. truly an amazing video. love it when cooks show how to make delicious food. keep up your awesome work as id love to learn more from you and your videos.

  12. Finally got around to making this!! It rivaled any cuban sandwich I ate while living in South Florida. The whole family loved it. BTW, Miami style is the best!

  13. Yikes cowboy you tried to make a cubano but didn't make a mojo marinade……? Thumbs down bucko

  14. Cuban sandwich was NOT born in Cuba,it was an extension of the Cuban cigar rollers in Ybor city in Tampa, and you can take that to your own bank!

  15. Personally, I can't stand dill or cucumbers, but use some other pickle veg (i.e. banana peppers) and it's a great sammich
