Tasty Moroccan Food! ANTI-CHEF Episode 5 I make some Moroccan Chicken Bastilla / B’stilla from the Food & Drink Magazine.

What the heck is a B’stilla/Bastilla?

Anti-Chef Episode 5 – Chicken Bastilla

Anti-Chef is a new type of cooking show. Clueless in the kitchen. Minimal interest in cooking. I’m forcing myself to learn gourmet recipes.

  1. Amazing video! It's not exactly like the original but it's ok! You can try Moroccan mint tea, it's very easy and yummy (15 minutes to make it). Btw you deserve more subscribers!

  2. Hahahah hey Nice try but as A Moroccan I can tell you are really ANTICHEF hhhhhh well done..hahahaha and that google translation 😂😂

  3. oooH YOU WERE SO FUN AND CHARMING! Oh why didnt I find you in 2017 : ) It was nice the two of you at the table that was super Nowa days humans dont eat in the movies I guess we are now a race of specialy built humans that just run on air and produce methaine. Thank You Love your videos

  4. Try an other moroccain dish like green menthe tea and boulefafe it's liver and fat skewers kebab or preserved lemon 🍋 chicken tajine or bisara fève soup whit garlic and olive oil….

  5. Just discovered your channel a couple of days ago and I'm happy to have subscribed. Keep up the excellent work!

  6. Thank u for this video .. pastela is a typical and specific Moroccan meat originate from Rabat capital of Morocco

  7. I'm a little suspicious that your girlfriend says she's never tasted anything like it before, but immediately identifies it as Moroccan. Also, pro tip: when your girlfriend says this is the best thing you've ever made, you say, "Thank you"! XD

  8. Im watching this and thinking, oh he is cutting an onion wrong he is going to cut himsel… yep there it is.

  9. I absolutely LOVE B'Stilla! (never made it with raisins before). I recently discovered your channel and am having fun going back to the beginning and I love how much you have evolved as a cook/chef. Keep it up!

  10. I am sure you have learned by now…..always preheat the oven as step one. You can’t put food into a cold oven. (In general)

  11. I love that you made a b’stilla! Idk too many folks who are adventurous enough to eat dried fruits (raisins, in this case) or nuts with meat. Saffron, too, is a strange taste for North Americans, but I’m sure you’ll be using it in many more recipes. I ❤ it a lot! Next time, don’t forget the ginger! I can’t wait until you get to recipes with preserved lemons! You could even make them now — all you need is lemons, salt, and a jar — and they’d be ready in about 3-4 weeks.

  12. Even by this episode I think it was too late to say you didn't have much interest in cooking!

  13. Found you with Julia, saw this playlist and It became my next binge. You have came so far! You should be so proud . Plus I love seeing how many homes you have gone thru in 5 years 😁

  14. Is it an ironic coincidence that the recipe out of the free magazine from the liquor store has 12 steps? 😮

  15. Just watching your vids from the beginning since i found your Julia and Jaime series a month ago (it was that orange almond cake), and you have come SO far! Watching you stir onions in a metal pan with the tongs made me uncomfortable 😅
