How to make Dunkin’s New Roasted Tomato Pesto Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Dunkin released this new item on April 27, 2022. Once they released it, I was able to try it out and then recreate it at home, which I think is a better tastier version.. Try it out for yourself! 🙂

  1. Your version 100% better. It's too bad dunkin don't put the effort in to making them as good as your version, they have their stuff prepped its a matter of using more of the ingredients like you mentioned. They would probably charge a bit more, for me I'd rather pay more and get a great sandwich then pay 5 bucks for a so-so sandwich!

  2. Thank you for the breakdown. I'm def going to make this at home, but when I tried it at Dunkin mine had a lot of pesto and tomatoes. I think something went wrong with the one you got.

    Edited for spelling.

  3. Thank you so much for this! I tried Dunkin’s version and had the same experience as you but I made this at home last night and wow!!! Best grilled cheese I’ve ever had, going to be making this regularly from now on

  4. My first thought when I tried this at Dunkin was 'I have to do one at home, make it even better!' Dunkin was good flavor, but squishy, too mushy. Good job!

  5. The Tomato Pesto Grill Cheese sandwiches I've had at Dunkin Donuts had more than enough ingredients on it and tasted delicious

  6. I have had 2 and both were full of cheese and tomatoes. Very good.

  7. Thank you so much for sharing your version. I cannot wait to try it! My dunkin sandwhich was so delicious and full of ingredients though, just thought I'd share that

  8. This looks so good, but it is too decadent. 4 slices of cheese! Oh no. It is really all about the taste of the roasted tomatoes. More tomatoes no need for so much cheese.

  9. They must have listened because mine was great. Good amount of stuff on it and nice and crispy crunchy! 🙂

  10. Man, you make me break my diet at 6am-Chicago time-😂😂😇😇it looks scrumptious

  11. I absolutely love this sandwich. I'd love to try to make it myself so I can have one whenever I want

  12. It’s more like toasted bread not grilled and they gave me lots of tomatoes and pesto- but I made it better!

  13. I think you got a bad employee or tired employee to make you that bad sandwich, or are they premade like Starbucks all the employees do is toast the sandwiches if a customer wants it toasted 🤔

  14. You’re right needs more pesto and cheese, this sandwich is my favorite but today I decided to make it myself, yummy thx for the recipe.

  15. This looks delicious. You could use a thin layer of mayo instead of butter and olive oil for frying. It creates a crisp outer crust and you don't taste the mayo.
