  11. I have to say, your recipe is better than Kenji's beef and broccoli both from his video/recipe book and from the Serious Eats website. This is now my go-to version, although I add a little bit more soy sauce as it just comes off as a little sweet to my taste.

  14. Can i marinate more than 15 min? Or this is the minimum? Ive never used baking soda so i don't know if this does anything to meat texture thats why i ask. Or else i know 24 hr marinate is ok.

  15. I made this tonight with a couple tweaks. I had matchstick carrots and snow peas. I like mine a little saucier, so did 1.5 times for the sauce ingredients. So good! Love your cooking videos! Thanks 👍

  18. Just made this. If anything, it's TOO good – my extra effort with the carrot went completely unnoticed. I couldn't get the same cut of beef but used rib eye and it was delicious. Thank you!
