Rina shares with us her recipe for orecchioni with butter and sage. These Italian ravioli look like big ears and are filled with chard and different types of cheeses. They are typical of the Faenza region in Italy.

  1. Nothing better than to watch these ladies ‘ hands as they work ! Thank you so much for your wonderful channel …

  2. Seriously, this was the best Pasta Grannies of all time! Don't mess with Nonna Rina! Especially you Chichi! Alora eh!

You could probably make a series called "The Adventures of Rina and Chichi" that would be wildly popular with the pasta set

  3. Your channel should have far more views! Grannies are so lovely and makes me feel all warm & fuzzy 🙂 That, with fabulous food ! I started making my own pasta after binge watching pasta grannies. amazed that even with my remedial skills how amazing home-made pasta is ! Thank you for the great videos and hope you keep making them !

  4. I adore these videos! Would you consider a video how to roll the pasta? I see these women wrap the pasta and roll. I’d have a horrific mess if I tried. Would love to see the technique

  5. I am always amused by your narration when you say "Grannie measures out 300 g of flour" and she's dumping it on the table. Did they ever use a scales….way back when they first began?

  6. Why, why have I not known this channel way before? 😩 This is exactly what I’ve been looking for- real, authentic and handmade Italian pasta recipes. I’m not even Italian myself but I highly appreciate traditional Italian recipes. Not these weird modern recipes with milk, tons of cream or other things no one needs. I’m in love with this channel already. ❤️

  7. 6 thumbs down from men who's Italian grannies kicked them out of their houses on their 45th birthday.

  8. I love this channel a lot.the authenticity, the character, the simplicity ,ohh just reminds me of warm summers with my grandmother

  9. Vicky, what can one use instead of romongiolo (sp?) cheese?, coz one can’t get it outside of their area, I’d guess…

  10. Great watching real Italian cooks at work. So often we hear you must 'marry the pasta to the sauce' by placing the pasta IN the sauce to "finish" on the stove. Yet, Granny after Granny simply dress their pasta with a little sauce over the top. Can't stop watching!!

  11. She is so darn cute🤣 “No no no no!”she knows how she wants her little pastas to be.😂

  12. Grannies are the same everywhere.
And they do NOT like late meals.
