  1. Hi friends! Hope everyone gets to make this delicious cobbler. The recipe has 3/4 cup of sugar (150g) mixed in with the dry ingredients, but it acceidentally got cut out of the final video! Happy Baking!

  2. I'm new to your channel and like your method of teaching your recipes. Will try this recipe since I love peaches. The only desserts my mother ever made were fruit preserves like pineapple and coconut. She tried frying donuts and they were ok. I take after her because I made your cream cheese cookies and they looked just like yours except mine were salty. Instead of 1/2 tsp of salt I added 1 tsp.😂 my bad.😢

  3. I just love your recipes, your commentary for tips and tricks, but mostly your passion comes through loud and clear!!!

  4. John, I'm making this dessert tonight….just wanted to share a tip I learned many years ago for peeling peaches…put the peaches in a pot of boiling water for about a minute this causes the skin to peel away so quickly…really like magic….thanks for all you do.

  5. A couple of suggestions . To peel your peaches effortlessly plunge them in a pot of boiling water for a few seconds the skins will slip off .
If your peaches are hard put them in a brown paper bag ( and fold the opening ) for two days . They should have ripened by then .
To bring the full flavour out of the peaches add 1/4 teaspoon of almond extract. It makes a huge difference .

  6. This is almost exactly the recipe I made as a teenager but the difference is I don't cook the peaches in sugar, I top them in brown sugar in the pan.

  7. Just made this today with freshly harvested apricots from my garden and I must say; it turned out delicious. And also: my apricots were not skinned. I left the skin on and it melted away in the oven.

  8. My mother taught me to peel peaches (and tomatoes) by cutting a cross on the end, and boil them for a minute. Peel with a paring knife.

  9. I just recreated this recipe. Everybody loved it and devoured it in minutes! Thanks chef 🥰❤️

  10. If your Peaches are perfectly ripe You can cut it down the middle and open it like an avocado gently.

  11. If you’ll scrape the peach all over with the edge of a sharp knife, it will be easier to peel. Love your videos and the fact that you provide links to the written versions.

  12. When I was growing up with grannie she put peaches in boiling water for 30 seconds then Immerse them In cold ice water then the peels slide off. I also add a tablespoon of peach brandy and 1/2 tsp ginger. She put the dough on bottom like you. If you put it o. Top the. It’s called a buckle.

  13. I was on some channel called the hill billy kitchen! I’m thinking the whole time, I can’t watch a trump supporter who tried to overthrow our democracy teach me to make this!

So then I found you… and I thought now here is someone not in a roach 🪳 infested kitchen & isn’t interested in forcing Jesus down my throat when they do the opposite of what he taught & tried to kill my freedom!!!

Glad I found a normal human to teach me! 🙌🏼

  14. I LOVE seeing your videos pop up anytime I'm searching for a great recipe. I skip Paula Dean and head straight for your recipes lol love this channel friend! I purchased a giant box of Palisade peaches here in Colorado to support our local H.S. football team. Can't waste a drop of these!

  15. Hello, thank you for the recipe. My cobbler is baking now and I can hardly wait for it to be done. I do have a question maybe you can help….I used 3/4 cup of milk and my cobbler became very watery. I added another 3/4 cup of flour and it was still pretty soft compared to your batter. Any idea, why my cobbler batter became runny? I made sure it was 3/4 cup of milk. Thanks.

  16. Why did you peal the peaches the hard way why not out an x in the bottom of them and blanch them in boiling water for 1 minutes then into cold water to cook them peal the skin comes off in like 30 seconds compared to peal for 3 minutes. Damn so gay

  17. Just made this with some amazing Co. Palisade peaches. My family was not a fan of the dough crust on the bottom. I’ve had better but it had a good taste. Put the batter on top would be my suggestion.
