  1. I've been searching for a quality peach cobbler recipe for so long! This one will definitely be it, so wholesome & simple, both the ingredients & narration. Thank youuuu!

I will add cinnamon, cloves, and ginger to mine 😛

  2. I just wanna make sure since you didn’t show the cobbler after you took out the spoonful it wasn’t wet. I’m fixing to make this for my family dinner tonight and I do not want a wet peach cobbler

  3. Made this today. I thought I had a leftover lemon from the strawberry pie I made last week but apparently I threw it out… So there was no lemon in mine, but my peaches were fresh picked from a local orchard so I really didn't need anything competing with that fresh peach flavor anyway. SO SIMPLE AND DELICIOUS!!!!!! Fork definitely don't lie.

  4. Peeling peaches is simple… Blanch refrigerated peaches for two minutes and they jump out of their skins.

  5. If one of the online vendors listed a "Freakishly Small Wooden Spoon" for sale, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would buy one. Hehe! My first attempt is in the oven – 15 minutes in, it's already starting to smell fantastic. Thanks Chef!

  6. Can I adopt you Chef John??!!! Never seen your face but I know I’ll love you ❤🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦

  7. Hi Chef John, Thank you for another winning recipe. It's the middle of winter so used apples instead with a splash of rum.

  8. I tried this recipe for Christmas this year. The crust was beautiful and the fork didn’t lie!
However the only peaches I had were canned, and I was determined, so I drained them for a long time. However after all was said and done, under the beautiful crust top the underside never cooked and made a thick white slurry in the center.
Could the canned peaches have ever worked? Are fresh peaches required? Thanks, love this!,

  9. This is the first good recipe I ever saw on YouTube. Probably 10 years ago! I remembered the measurements for the longest time. I finally forgot them and came back. I rewatched the whole video, it’s the best! Love your humor. And your baking!

  10. This will be the fifth recipe of yours im making. I'm assuming 350° is the correct temp because that's what you said. Just checking because it says 375° on the recipe. I'm going with 350° I haven't madena recipe of yours we didn't love. Thank you!

  11. Wow, such a sweet delicate and inviting crust, it makes you simply want to eat the whole pan, the crispiness, the glaze just ooozes of delicious. Great video, Great recipe 🥰

  12. The peaches are sweet enough without sugar!! I’ve eaten peaches that taste like candy but it seems weird to not add even a tad of sugar for the filling, but I trust you, ha! Looks beautiful. I am grateful to find this. Love, love crispy crust any day over cake like toppings typical in other vids.

  13. Back here for the 5th year in a row. I make this every single year in peach season and people just adore it. Amazing recipe!

  14. Okay, so I just made this, and did EVERYTHING EXACTLY as you did, and my top did NOT turn out crispy at all. In fact it's very soft and bread like. Even lightly scraping a fork across the top it just bounces, make zero sound, and actually wants to tear the "crust," which didn't turn out crust-like AT ALL. I'm so disappointed. I've never had one of your recipes not turn out, but this one certainly did not. I even put it back in for another ten minutes to see if that would help, but it did not.

  15. Anyone made this with a butter alternative? Looking for a dairy-free option. Butter flavored crisco maybe? Or would ghee work?
