Shrimp in Morocco are usually fresh. These are frozen from Ecuador. What a long way to get here. We cook them on the barbecue in Morocco with buffalo sauce for an American style shrimp or Slovenian style with Mediterranean influence flavour.

We enjoy a Moroccan sunset in Tamraght.
Buffalo sauce: Butter, harissa paste star bran or any other hot sauce

Mediterranean style: garlic, lime juice, parsley, white wine.

  3. I loved shrimp for the last 20 years, but recently found out I am allergic to them, so now I cannot eat any crustaceans. Side note, you should wash (with cold water) the seasoning from the shrimp shells and use them to make shrimp stock (along with celery, onion and carrots).

Now we’re cooking!!…Have you thought about a mojito yoghurt drink dip !!…haha!..next time maybe keep some aside for Gambas al pil pil!…very simple,…olive oil in an open terra-cotta dish,add sliced garlic,small dried chilli peppers and smoked paprika,fry until aromatic a minutes or two at most,throw in the Gambas,give it a stir and coat it in the reddish olive oil,then cover the dish with a lid and take of the heat and let it sizzle for a few minutes,take off the lid and hit with somevfresh chopped parsley and enjoy and don’t forget to dip all the olive oil up with Moroccan bread!..yum!…Best wishes.

  7. Looks yummy but next time first thing put a layer of parshment paper in contact with the shrimps then cover with foil this way it's healthier and you have no aluminum in your system . Always replace foil with. Parshment paper here it's called papier cuisson .
