The decision to devein shrimp is basically a matter of personal preference and aesthetics, not hygiene, and the vein is not harmful to the human body if eaten. … Most cooks will not bother deveining medium-sized or smaller shrimp unless they look particularly dirty. So, calm down people. Do it if you want or don't. I really don't care. Just know that you're already eating shrimp that isn't deveined in most restaurants anyway! 😎

Dipping the shrimping flour first is genius haven’t saw anyone do that in all the 20 Videos I watched, That made the Shrimp do exactly what you said STICK BETTER.   4. Somewhere I went wrong I watched this video after. I think I went wrong adding 1 to 1 flour to my seasoning. My shrimp came out darker and extremely salty. I doused it with ketchup to eat a few and gave up on the majority. I saw your video they're light colored. I think mine came darker red because of the paprika. My oil turned darker reddish as well. I see you added maybe a 5th or less of seasoning to 1 part flour. I think by added 1 to 1 in mine I thought more seasoning would be good I just wasnt thinking I guess. I over seasoned I feel like them shrimp died in vain. I think I know what I have to do next time. And I didn't add milk so maybe that helped with the light golden color of yours. I might add lime juice as well as milk to my egg wash next time. I do like my limes. Hhmmm disappointed. But I will learn by trial and error. And I'd appreciate any thoughts. Thank you

  5. Just made this last night with Jumbo shrimp. They were awesome. I left out the hot sauce and instead of using regular or buttermilk I used half and half. Going to put this in my recipe book. Thank You.

  8. Shrimp that are medium to large, try eating the tail! It's crispy and even better than the shrimp. It has a unique and delicious flavor. Don't do this with jumbo shrimp because the tail is too tough.

  11. Funny this is called "Poor Mans!" I just picked up 3 pounds of Royal Reds and it was only $19 here in Jax, FL…The taste of your batter PMGK was High-End. Would have easily set me back $60 from any restaurant! As I'm typing this to tell you thanks for this post..my wife & I are completely stuffed! Best I've ever made!! Boss!! 💯👍
