Watching this reminds me of some of the more messed up recipes for meatloaf… like crushed ritz crackers, milk & butter mixed with ground beef. That's it. That's the recipe. I felt sick just looking at it. Even now I throw up a little just thinking about it.

I just used this glaze (slightly modified) for the first time ever and it is absolutely spot on. Also thanks to Babby for teaching me about panade. Game changer!
I've made the simple version of this meatloaf a couple of times, making minor adjustments as I go and have a few things I noticed. 45min in the oven gives this meatloaf a borderline raw texture in my very average functioning oven. Subbing the first "tomato paste" from this recipe which I assume is canned instead of concentrated with ketchup is great for the texture and flavour of the glaze, and though halving this recipe looks unimpressive, the flavours seem to pop more for some reason. Great recipe!

Veal is too expensive, I just use a 70/30 mix of ground beef to ground pork. I skip soy sauce and use BBQ sauce.
I put A1 in my glaze, out of this world
I would put some slices of bacon on it, and fill it with Feta cheese.
