Ingredients:

1 – 15.25oz box favorite yellow cake mix
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
3 eggs (Mix in one at at time. Do not over mix)
8 oz room temp cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla extract

2 lbs fresh strawberries (diced)
10oz strawberry glaze or pie filling
add a little freshly squeezed lemon juice (optional)

16oz heavy whipping cream
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

*bake @ 350 F 35-40 mins with two 8 inch or 9 inch pans
*45-50 mins for 1 bunt pan

  1. I prefer fresh fruit fresh whipped cream cakes over cakes that have frosting, I'm very particular about frosting and I actually don't like overly sweet or gritty/greasy feeling frosting, but fresh whipped cream is the best~ 😁

  4. I made this as directed, and both of my 9.5 inch cake pans overflowed in the oven. I wish I would’ve thought to put 1/3 of the batter into 3 pans instead. That might’ve worked. If not definitely 4 pans would’ve worked.

  6. I looked at your recipe and it does not list butter but in your video you mentioned 2 sticks of butter.

  8. You should make another one but instead of a cake cake you should mix together the strawberries margarin/butter both and a little strawberry sauce (making sure the batter is a good consistency to be cake-like) then bake on a low temperature for a longer time so it can be a moist sponge cake

    Then take cream cheese and beat it until whipped – add whipped cream to it and fold

    (I’ve heard condensed milk is also a good ingredient in cake, but I don’t have any real recipe with any of this)

    Then marmalade some strawberries on the stove top (crushing strawberries and bringing them to a slight boil) let that cool then chop some more strawberries finely to both top the cake with !!!!

    P:S: you’ll probably really want to cross reference a few different recipes before deciding how exactly to do this so it’s not a complete fail the first time… maybe the margarin could also be churrned with some strawberry sauce so that it has a nice baking quality + aspect to it when baking for the shortcake …) (butter might be easier, but it’s less flavorful – still easier to use…)
