    Salt

    Brown sugar

  3. I have been following another recipe that requires the needle pinching the skin and resting the pork in the fridge for hours. This will cut down a LOT of work and I can do everything in one go.Gotta try this next time.

  4. I'm using the Phillips air fryer but it keeps burning the skin to black at 400 F for 30 minutes. What am I doing wrong?

  7. I just tried this tonight, I´m new to this airfrying thing. My first real cooking in a airfryer.
Changed it a little bit for me. I cut it a little bit less. And I made few cuts on the skin. I used less spice, I skiped onion powder, used garlic powder instead of garlic salt, cuming powder, Italian seasoning and brown sugar. So what I used was: Five spice powder, ground black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika (want to try to use just paprika next time) and salt.
Went to the store and bought white vinegar / hvidvinseddike (Have never tried that) And I put in the the fryer first on 100°c for 20 min, put the olive oil on and salt and then for 30 min at 200°c, might have been for 5 minutes more, small part in the middle was not quite fully cooked. This worked well. the skinn was very crispy, something I have had problems with getting in a normal oven.
My syster did not like the smell of the white vinegar / hvidvinseddike and is not for white wine and was afraid that the meat would taste of the vinegar, but you could not taste any of it.
And on the side I had Toro saus til stek, pan fried potatoes in butter and seasoned with cursed black pepper, and had just normal cucumber and anybody could cut him self some slices.
Definitely going to try again and with other spices to. Going to try more danish tradition next time with clove nails and bay leaves.

  8. A family of 3 to 4 people?

As a Big Guy, I would destroy that myself!

  9. if u do this PLEASE make sure to pierce the skin and make small holes all over it. There are specialized tools for this but i used grill scewers to make the holes, just make sure to not puncture all the way through to the meat

  10. I tried making it tonight. The skin was crispy but hardly puffed up. It was tasty.

  11. I have tried but it turns out the skin is crisp but very hard to eat. I don't know why it's like that

  12. Kana talanlah kau tanah kalo dlm 3 hari ini kau inda dtg kpd saya..

  13. 1.Season and make shallow cuts on meat side only
    2. Make foil box
    3. Clean and brush skin side only with vinegar
    4. Make foil box
    5. Place in foil box skin side up close edges to encapsulate meat leaving skin visible
    6. Brush skin with white vinegar
    7. Place in air fryer for 30 mins @200 degrees
    8. Remove and brush over skin olive oil and sprinkle of salt
    9. Return to aifryer @ 400 degrees for 40 mins let cool for juices to redistribute… Or slice right away and enjoy😊😉

  14. Did not work. As usual the skin was soft. This is my fourth attempt in my brand new Breville Air Fryer. What am I doing wrong?

  15. What …you don't have to pierce the skin? Salt the skin and put up over night in the ref to dry it out? Amazing! Im going to try it in my convection oven.

  16. Thanks so much. I just made this recipe and it's just yummy yummy. Crispy top and full of flavour!!

  17. Hi, we are Korean reality TV program “Europe Outside Your Tent : Norway”. We are now making the episode of Norway and it will be really great if you could allow us to use this video in our show! We will be looking forward to ur response! Thanks!

  18. The temp settings of my air fryer are just from 150C (300F) to 200C (390F). Would it work if I set with less time to dry the skin at 150C (300F) instead of 95C (200F)? Thanks in advance.

  19. My air fryer doesn't have a dehydrator function, is it the same if I just use regular cooking function at 200 Fahrenheit?

  20. Thank you chef John, my roasted pork was so delicious, the skin was so crunchy. I followed your recipe exactly and I got a perfectly roasted pork. Thanks again.
