  1. you made some weird kind of salad but to make fattoush you need roasted Syrian bread and red wine vinegar and olive oil and no weird spices or lemon juice or cilantro.

  5. Because I eat so much salad I don't bother mixing in the salad dressing unless it is a special occasion. I just cut or tear the vegetables into big chunks and as I eat just dip into a chunky salad dressing served in a separate bowl.
