Sambousek is often served as Lebanese mezze.

Oil pastry

Flour 2 x cups
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Oil 1/4 cup
Hot water 1/2 cup

Mix dry ingredients then add oil and mix further.
Add hot water and mix and knead.
Add small amounts of oil and water if needed.

Cover and chill for one hour before use.

Sambousek Filling

400 grams goat or lamb mince, beef can be substituted.
Onion x 1
Pine seeds 2-3 tablespoons
Pomegranate molasses 1-2 tablespoons

Fry meat and add onions
After meat has colored add pine seeds,
Fry for a few more minutes turn off heat and add pomegranate molasses.

Let mixture cool

Roll out dough and put meat in and fold closed as video shows.
Fry until golden.
