Mandraki Taverna on Agistri Island in Greece, is one of my favourite places to eat, and it’s owner allows me to bring my own caught fish that he prepares for me. That is an old tradition in Greek tavernas, and one that I am happy is still alive here on this island. In this video Ilias the chef, and friend of mine, prepares us a fish soup from a small grouper I caught, and sheds some light on why all mediterranean food tastes better… and what the secret is that anyone can use.
