Grape leaves wrapping is very famous traditional Turkish recipe. It can be made with vegetarian style or mince meat in them. Very time consuming but the end result is delicious. The recipe can be vary from state to state in Turkiye
Here is the grape leaves ( mince meat) recipe that I follow:
Around 250 grams of beef or lamb mince meat
2 onions chopped finely
One cup of rice
One table spoon of bulgur
One table spoon of tomatoes paste
One table spoon of salt
One tea spoon of some spices like cumin, black pepper, red pepper,
One table spoon of water
One table spoon of olive oil
One hand full of parsley chopped
One hand full of dill fresh chopped
Half of kilo fresh grape leaves or preserved
For dressing: 2 tablespoons of olive oil , some chili flakes, one cup of water, 2 table spoons of tomatoes pure . You can make it less by halving the recipes.
