  1. Cuando te das cuenta que estás ante una mujer que le encanta la comida y la cultura Italiana? Cuando estás frente a una mujer que usa joyas y usa ingredientes frescos! Felicidades Lidia.

  2. this is just another fake american-italian thing what has nothing to do with real italian cooking how we cook in europe. Lady I hope your husband can sleep in another bedroom. That basilico nobody should taste that with that much of garlic. Only people who can't cook, use that much. Go back to Italy and learn how to cook real Italian food and not that fake shit we have never heard of.

  4. I cooked this for family members today and they said it didn’t taste like our mother’s Sicilian marinara. Lydia’s needs chopped onion then crushed garlic. There’s too much olive oil in hers. Its oily and bitter. Since It’s hard to find good cooking olive oil I’d recommend a neutral oil like a good coconut oil to sauté the onions about 10 minutes first then add garlic. Only cook the garlic about a minute or less. Then add the tomatoes add some lemon juice to them if you like. I do both whole and stewed . No Water. Then cook about 40- ? minutes till thick. When it’s done then taste. It might need a little salt/sugar. Then add butter to sauce and some red wine or balsamic. I even add fried carrots and celery. I don’t add basil to mine.
