  1. Well done, a recipe I have been searching for a long time. Normally I just buy the can, another wonderful EP, thank you so much ladies 🙏

  2. So how do you clean this lovely roaster to return it to now nice it looked at the start????

  3. A complete ATK fail for me…not sweet enough, the soy sauce added an off note but most importantly the beans did not get soft. They needed hours of more cooking. I followed the recipe to a T.

  4. I followed this recipe exactly. They have now been cooking 6 1/2 hours and beans are still hard? 2 hours lid on, removed lid on hour 3 just like the recipe said. Still plenty of liquid, no browning. Back in the oven now another 3 1/2 hours. What in the world went wrong?

  5. As a native Vermonter, I would have to add (real) maple syrup to this recipe. Probably reduce the molasses a bit so not to be too sweet. Will have to give this a try for sure.

  6. ATK: "I don't have ten hours to make baked beans"
Also ATK: first thing we're going to do is brine our beans for 8-24 hours."

  7. I made this recipe for a large family get together last year, and everyone loved them.
I am now the designated baked bean maker. We have another family party this weekend and I was asked to double the recipe,
This I will be my fourth time making them. 🙂

  8. I made baked beans with our family recipe which is almost the same, but over the years have made them in the crock pot, and also mainly on the stovetop-they just didn’t brown as much. Still yummy!

  9. I made this this morning. It was not as simple as you say, but it came out unbelievable.

  10. Support that I had to buy from Hormel was not 50-50 so I had to add in some diced ham from Smithfield, but that worked out just fine. The other problem is mostly there’s so much fat on this salt pork do you have to cut the fat back off of it

  11. Putting this recipe together to go with pork chops this evening. With two changes. A tablespoon of paprika, and two tablespoons of tomato paste. Oh and I'm making it in a slow cooker because it's 100° with 80% humidity everyday here.

    Hoping for success.

  12. I have made them twice for family barbecues and I was asked to double them up for this Labor Day! What did you girls get me into?!! 😉🥰

  13. zero chance to get money from me for your crummy website, because there is a thousand other websites to go to. I would be happy to send money to you when i use your recipe. Since you do not offer this type of payment you can kick rocks
