Roasted Red Pepper Hummus Recipe

Ingredients

– Pre-Soaked chickpeas (1.5 cups)
– Red pepper (1)
– Lemon (1)
– Tahini paste (1/4 cup)
– Paprika powder (1 tea spoon)
– Olive oil (4 table spoons)
– Salt (1/2 tea spoon or per taste)
– Garlic cloves (4)

Preparations

– Wash and soak 1.5 cups chickpeas overnight
– Chop red peppers into bigger pieces and roast them on pan with 1 tea spoon of olive oil for upto 5 minutes
– Add chickpeas, garlic, paprika powder, lime juice, tahini paste and salt into a food processor
– Peel red pepper skin and add them to the food processor
– Add olive oil and 3-4 ice cubes or 1/4 cup cold water
– Mix them to a smooth paste
– Top it with 2 tea spoons olive oil and paprika powder before serving
