This is an easy and quick recipe using jarred green pitted olives. It takes just a few minutes to prepare and is sure to be a hit at your next party.

Ingredients:
– 1 14 oz. jar of pitted green olives in oil
– 2 cloves of peeled garlic
– 3 tablespoons of olive oil
– Stale bread for crostini
– 2 tablespoons oil for drizzling

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 F

Cut the bread into slices about 1 inch thick. Drizzle with olive oil and place into a 350 degree F oven on a sheet pan for 8 minutes until lightly browned.

In the bowl of a food processor, fitted with a blade, add olives, oil and garlic and process for 2 minutes or until it becomes a coarse paste.

Spread about 2 tablespoons of tapenade on a crostini. Enjoy.
