Just made the carrot cake and it is really good. My wife loves carrot cake and she was very clear that this was a delicious carrot cake. The caramel sauce tastes extremely well with this so I would recommend making this too. It is a quite heavy cake and a a medium to small size slice was more than enough. Thanks for the recipe! Also your (key)lime pie from your book is an all time favourite!

Hello. I tried to make this cake but the cakes came out of the oven a bit flat (after 35 mins). I used all purpose flour (plain flour in the uk). I'm not sure what I did wrong. Any help would be appreciated!! Thank you! 🙂
