How to Make a Dirty Martini

What You Need:
• either vodka or gin (your preference)
• dry vermouth
• olives
• olive brine (or “juice)
• ice
• cocktail shaker or stirring glass (your preference)
• strainer
• martini glass

How You Do It:
1. Fill martini glass with ice. Set aside.
2. Fill the shaker with ice.
3. Add one ounce of dry vermouth.
4. Give it a quick stir.
5. Strain and discard the dry vermouth.
6. Add 2.5 ounces of vodka to the shaker.
7. Shake or stir (your preference)
8. Discard ice that has been chilling the martini glass.
9. Strain shaker into martini glass.
10. Add 1 ounce of olive brine to martini (or to taste).
11. Stir with a garnish with several olives on a toothpick.
12. You’ve just made a dirty martini. Cheers!
