  1. The traditional cheese fondue recipe features both Emmental and Gruyère cheeses as well as a type of brandy called Kirschwasser (also called Kirsch), which is made from cherries. If you can't find Kirschwasser, you can substitute brandy or cognac. When you try it this way it’s the difference between night and day! I make fondue Year round, my favorite meal! The Kirsch is the KEY! 💕 Yummm!!

  2. Some will say «Always stir in 8». It works pretty well and helps not having the oily-fat separate from the cheese.

  3. This is SO NOT how the traditional Swiss Cheese Fondue is made in GRUYERE where it originated. This made me laugh though, and laughter is the best medicine.🤫🤭😁🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
