Pie Queen Melissa Clark is back! Today she’s showing us how to make her Maple-Honey Pecan Pie. Pecan pie is often made with corn syrup, but by swapping it out for a combination of maple syrup and honey, you get a complex and richly flavored confection that’s still wonderfully gooey in the center.

Pecan pie is great, not sure bout p'caan pie though..
There is no Yankee there is no other state in the United States who knows how to make pecan pie as best as Texas does because we were the first ones to invent it thank you very much everyone else shut up. The end
Less goo and more pecans. I can't trust this person.
These pcaaaaan nuts hit really different
“I love nuts” ha… immature I know
Bless your heart for standing up for the true pronunciation of our beloved nuts.
-A Texan
That little smirk @ 0:54
That pie looks amazing.
Impossible to get to recipe without subscription, giving up
wrong pronunciation
Lmao…. I was just searching for one to say Pe-Can Pie lmao. You went for the dagger in the beginning.
Where are measuring?
in South africa its Peeeee can.. not Pe caaaan… still the best pie ever
I love nuts!!!
Can i use strictly honey instead of corn syrup or the additional maple syrup? Or maybe use molasses instead. Or molasses and honey?
Delicious! But if you like lots of pecans then double or triple the pecans! Thin layer of pecans and large layer of gooo is what you get here – delicious either way
Bourbon is the best part of pecan pie
Where’s the written recipe?
where do you get the recipe
A cherry pecan hybrid is my ideal
I put a good amount of salt on top to balance the sweetness.
Bourbon how much and what kind of bourbon did you use I usually make mine without alcohol but I would like to actually try this one
Its Trashcan not Trashcahn.
.Its Pecan
At my house it's pee-con.
Looks nice, but your ingredients are way overboard ! Butter, maple syrup, honey…being a diabetic I would die eating that pie ! A Heavenly death, indeed ! 😃

I've been trying to find a video to follow so I can make a pecan pie and this lady has the most trustworthy vibe so I'm choosing this video as the recipe I'll use forever now
I’ve put bourbon in my pecan pies for years, it takes that eggy taste out
I'm not allowed to show up for Thanskgiving without one of these pies. Thanks for the perfect pecan pie recipe!
Love your humor and the way you say pecan (I do too) thanks for a perfect recipe
(0:04) What?! A bunch of native Metropolitan New Yorkers are supposed to say “PEE-can”! 😁😁
Love the receipe.
I just read a tweet saying that it’s ‘peh-can,’ not ‘pee-can’ and it’s literally the reason why I’m looking for pecan pie videos on YouTube 😂
I’m a huge fan of both pecan & sweet potato pies, but I prefer half the amount of fillings because I like the crush.
You say it your way I will say my way
salted or un salted butter??
So irritating
Been looking for the perfect pecan pie recipe for a while now. It's the kind of pie that I've been finding difficult to make from scratch as good as some store bought ones actually. Recipes with corn syrup have been underwhelming. I think that personally, I need maple syrup in my pecan pie and, this recipe is now the one to beat in my book.
Ok but what are the measurements?
I love you recepi ❤😅
Melissa Clark is ADORABLE
I have Melissa Clark's books as I don't know much about making dessert or sweet pastries. This is the first time watching a Melissa Clark and hasn't disappointed me as with her books. A Legend. P.S. Has anyone tried adding orange blossom or orange zest with bourbon to the pie filling? Or nutmeg?
You got me questing the unit of measurement. How much?
Is brown butter the same as ghee? If not, then what’s the difference?
Is there some rule that every affluent NYC woman must wear thick glasses and have that slightly condescending enunciation? I feel like I can spot these cookie-cutter people a mile away lol.
