Pie Queen Melissa Clark is back! Today she’s showing us how to make her Maple-Honey Pecan Pie. Pecan pie is often made with corn syrup, but by swapping it out for a combination of maple syrup and honey, you get a complex and richly flavored confection that’s still wonderfully gooey in the center.

  4. Delicious! But if you like lots of pecans then double or triple the pecans! Thin layer of pecans and large layer of gooo is what you get here – delicious either way

  11. Been looking for the perfect pecan pie recipe for a while now. It's the kind of pie that I've been finding difficult to make from scratch as good as some store bought ones actually. Recipes with corn syrup have been underwhelming. I think that personally, I need maple syrup in my pecan pie and, this recipe is now the one to beat in my book.
