Again this video is in response to many of your emails. I am getting through them all as fast i can. We are using a whole Sea Bass but the same of course would apply to Trout, Salmon, Tilapia or Milk Fish. This is so simple to do and if you like skip what i have added and choose a few different things to add. Ginger, dried herbs like Oregano, bay, Thyme or Basil maybe. I have used a simple mix of garlic, butter and lemon, but why not try fresh chilli, some pesto maybe. By simply wrapping the fish in silver foil and creating a little air pocket will enable the fish to bake but at the same time form some steam and keep the fish really moist. So easy and i really hope this helps some of you.
I am baking this at 400 in a pre heated oven, but please remember all ovens are a little different, for example we have a industrial catering oven – This being the case if you put this fish in your oven at its max heat in the middle shelf for 20-25 mins it will be fine. That is if you have a regular home cooker. TIP – When cooking fish i always find it best to keep it simple, butter, olive oil garlic lemon and or lime work really well. Big love xx.

  1. Thanks for this recipe. Just finished eating it and it was delicious. I skipped the olive oil though. The butter was enough 🙂

  2. Thanks, I watched this video and I tried it on a 3lb bowfin and baked it 30 mins. I didn't have onion and butter, I used fresh garlic, dried onion crumbs, olive oil and burger fat. I used lemon salt seasoning and stuff the fish with lemon in the belly and head. It was our 1st time cooking bowfin and didn't know what to expect. The flesh is very soft, but not fishy and with lemon sauce and baking as shown in your video it was not bad. My boys ate it all. Middle child said it tasted like chicken. Thanks for the video.

  3. Thank you very much for this recipe i don't have much ingredients at home it really helped thank u

  4. Thanks for sharing us this simple ingredients recipe. I tried it and it turned out well. Didn't use olive oil only butter. Need to put more butter as I wasn't sure on the measurement.

  5. Did you fillet the salmon on the inside at all? Do you have a video explaining the fillet process?

    Thank you
