Amazingly Delicious Southern Fried Corn Recipe Ingredients:
4-6 ears of fresh corn, shucked and cut off of the cob, reserving the milk that comes off
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
2 tablespoons bacon fat
salt and pepper to taste
NOTE: For this amazingly delicious southern fried corn recipe you can also use can or frozen corn. If using can corn drain off the liquid from the can

Yes, yes, Mrs. Pam I do keep bacon grease myself, in a class jar right in my refrigerator door, and it is delicious in some of my vegetables or whatever I want bacon flavor in. God bless.

the iron skillet turns fried corn an ugly color, little tinge of gray from the iron skilet
My mom would add bacon bits,onions, peppers,you can add anything you like.and flourfor a rue she would use fresh corn off the Cobb

I've heard of fried corn, I've never had it, I'd love to try it, I don't know of any true southern chefs or cooks in idaho

I just went to a farmers market and 80 ears of corn for $14.00, so i know the "fresh frozen" thing. I love to add peppers and onions in mine. Tfs
