Blueberry Syrup is easy to make. Our homemade blueberry syrup is perfect on pancakes. Simple steps for blueberry syrup canning with NO water bath are also included. Don’t worry about cooking this too long because if that happens, you have blueberry jam.

Our simple recipe for homemade blueberry syrup is blueberries, sugar, and water. We use organic sugar to keep it completely all natural. Some people call this blueberry sauce. Either way its just great pancake syrup or sauce.

Then we provide instruction on canning blueberry syrup (blueberry sauce) so you will have some for cold winter mornings.

We use blueberry syrup for pancakes, french toast, and we even use it to make homemade blueberry vinaigrette. I created this method to how to make blueberry syrup because my family loves blueberries.

If you would rather have blueberry jam or preserves simply cook the mixture another 5 minutes and it will set up as blueberry jam. So if you like jam, this recipe makes great blueberry jam. Use the blueberry jam for biscuits and blueberry syrup for pancakes!!

  9. Mine turned out a little thinner than I wanted. BUT it’s still so GOOD on pancakes. Sometimes I pour some in a cup and water it down to make a blueberry juice 😋

  10. You should have used a water bath canner to seal your jars. We do things the correct way for a reason! Please stop giving people incorrect information!
