wrong time to watch …. I swallowed twice … man I'm hungry. looks great
Perfect!!!!
Julia!
I cannot thank you enough! I am nearly 60 years old and have never fried an egg. My ninety-year-old mother loves a fried egg. I made my first fried egg this morning for my 90 year old mother thanks to your video, and she loves it! She's picky, so if she didn't like it she definitely would not eat it. Thanks to you and your instructions, I could give my 90 year old mother her favorite breakfast this morning. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Thank you for the video. I've been doing it all wrong.
Not perfect you do not brown the edges of the eggs or basted the eggs perfect would be sun and a beautiful white and yellow runny yoke, your bacon is dried out.
Gotcha
Julia, Julia, Julia. It’s a fried egg. Get it in the pan, cook it then eat it.
I am going to try this today!😀
I’ve made fried eggs a few times this way now but I can’t seem to get the whites to go over the yolk like she does. Mine look more like sunny side up but I want that over easy look and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
Actually you don’t want to season your eggs before cooking, especially if your doing scrambled or an omelette. Your eggs will be fluffier if you wait til their done to season them.
I don’t see the point for two bowls I only use one bowl and put 3 eggs in it and look exactly like yours when I pour them into the pan.
Amazing, 🙂
they're burnt that nasty brown stuff around the egg is bad my dad would quietly go to the cafe
I prefer a simpler, lower fat and cholesterol, sandwich. Fry 2 sliced mushrooms in olive oil and butter (not too much!). Add one egg and scramble it with the mushrooms. Place it on buttered, lightly toasted sourdough bread. Enjoy with a cup of coffee. Heaven, and it is much better for you.
I made the eggs near perfect.
Thank you for the instructions
just curious, I'd turn off the burner and not bother sliding pan to another burner; how does that sound? Your eggs look DELICIOUS!! Thank you from Sue in Oregon.
If they're browned at the edges they're overcooked.
Need more crispyness. 😫
This is not perfect. It's not even a good example of how to fry an egg. Look, I don't care if you don't know how to cook an egg, but don't claim it's "Perfect".
What is "vag" oil?
"just a little bit of butter" fuckin 1/2 a stick
"A broken yolk makes for a long day ahead." LOL! Love it! And gotta love those fried edges.
thanks
as a 12 year old this will help me in the future
I like my eggs slurpy, sunny side up without the crunchy burnt brown edges.
2023. Just WOW. Thank you.
Boo!
Somehow the whites on top are still a little runny.
…the Best fried egg is fry your bacon First in the pan & Then fry your eggs in the Bacon Fat! Oh, and over easy too.
Decent eggs! The toast and bacon have died, but I guess that is the price of making a video like this. Also, the butter certainly doesn't need to be refidgerator cold.
I consider it a failure to have crisp brown edges on a fried egg.
I just tried this exact method 5 minutes ago, to the T. Worked almost perfectly. The only change I'll make is adding the seasoning, quickly after putting eggs in the pan. There's more surface area in the pan than in a bowl, for a more even distribution. I had bites with a lot of salt and some without. Other than that, the cook on the egg was exactly as we sunny siders love. Thank you so much. Too many other explanations leave stuff out, or add unnecessary steps, like adding water. There's enough moisture in eggs to create steam when covered. No need for water.
It is great eggs anyway but I prefer mine fried on the bottom.
Thank you. I always overcook or break the yoke so I’m going to try this. Love me a runny yoke with the crispy outer circle. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Sorry, but for me an egg should be white and soft all over.
Burnt around the edge is not a perfect fried egg.
My grandma taught me always put a little bit of flour in the bottom of the pan to get a good crispy crust
