I tried a homemade pizza, cost me about $3 without including the cost of spices. Pretty filling for only 360 calories. Ingredients in comment, 2nd picture is my entry in MyNetDiary for the meal.

I tried my best to approximate the costs for one meal’s worth of ingredients, here you go

    sauce – 2oz – 12c

    roma tomatoes – 2oz – 24c

    sliced olives with pimento – 2 tbsp – 12c

    red onion – 1.5oz – 13c

    chicken breast – 4 oz – 62.5c

    joseph’s lavash flatbread – 10oz – 65c

    fat free shredded mozzarella cheese – 1oz – 32c

    green bell pepper – 4oz – 45c

    white mushrooms – 1.5oz – 32c

In total, about $2.97, or $3

The things not included are the spices I used to cook the ground chicken breast, and I used less than 1tsp of oil spray for 1.5lb worth, so I didn’t bother to include the oil per meal.

It looks good! I’m jealous of your prices too. Where I live, just one of those ingredients would be over $3. 🤣

I’ve always found Jack’s pizzas to be delicious, cheap, with a decent macronutrient makeup and not too many calories for the amount of food you get. I don’t eat them much, because they are addicting.

    This looks delicious for sure!

The lavash crust is my FAVORITE low cal pizza crust option. Always delicious 😋

How did you cook it? Oven on a stone, grill, etc?
