Swordfish is one of my all-time favorite types of seafood to grill, and this really was amazing, but if I’m being honest, the fish was just an excuse to show you how to make the incredible white hot sauce. Enjoy!

  1. Thank God. Just moved from Seattle (not a lot of swordfish at the market) to San Diego (swordfish everywhere) and was curious about what to do with it!

  2. Rochester guy that I am, I was a bit worried when you said you were making "white hot sauce." I'm not sure I'm ready for blended pork hot dogs…

  3. I'ma make some white hot-sauce… or is it white-hot sauce…? Also gotta buy a clean squeeze bottle – don't want to re-purpose a Windex or glue bottle.

  4. Hey John, I found hot ice cream at Grocery Outlet in pints. I got some chocolate and some stawberry. It is called "Hot Scream" it seems to have some hot ingredient that is not on the ingredient list but it delivers the heat.

  5. I generally don't like fish. Unless it's extremely fresh like in sushi and with very light cooking. Unfortunately the sword fish didn't come apart in flakes that show freshness but rather in pieces

  6. Perhaps you could add some on-screen text when you use measurements such as '7 ounces'. It could help your international viewers who don't live in the 18th century.

  7. Although swordfish is hugely popular, this beautiful, tropical fish has been found to contain some of the highest levels of mercury among all larger sized edible fish.

  8. Swordfish was Captain Block's weakness…..wonder if Toody and Muldoon ever delivered those steaks…..

  9. I have a food wish. Make something South Tyrolean. Schlutzkrapfen with a spinach-ricotta filling or Speckknödel 😀

(and great recipe as always btw)

  10. I made this sauce last night served over tilapia (couldn’t find swordfish) and it was absolutely delicious!!!

  11. Looks great. Can't help but think the sauce would also be really good on that fish as a brief marinade before grilling.

  12. He actually ate some of the salad, we should check his DNA, make sure it's really him…Pod Person…Love that sauce, Thanks Chef!

  13. Just bought a nice swordfish.. ima cook mine while doing my best Food Wishes impersonation.

  14. Thats okay, the hands blocking the camera while eating shot doesn't bother me as much as cooking channels who show their nasty bare feet in the shot.
