Ground Beef Tacos

2 pounds of ground beef
3 tomato’s
6 serrano chilies
1 garlic clove
1 union
Cilantro
Tortillas
Vegetal oil
1 tbsp. of garlic salt
1 tbsp. of black pepper cheese

  2. Gloria, I first had tacos like this in New Mexico, in 1968. But the tacos seemed to have had refried beans in them, too. Very delicious.

  3. Gloria, thank you so much for your hard shell tacos. And for your honesty when it comes to keeping your shells closed during the frying process. People don't realize you need tooth picks to keep you tacos from opening up. You are the first person I have seen on the internet to show me this important and much needed step.

  4. The way I saw them being prepared when I was younger was to skip the toothpicks. Instead they would mix the ground beef mixture with some cheese. The cheese acted like the binder and kept the ground beef inside the taco while frying.
