  1. OKHENT, you are not convinced??? The question is, have YOU been to Morocco? What exactly is your question? Morocco is a very rich country culturally, no one video can reflect your limited experience with Moroccan food. So, it may be news to you, but there is nothing un-Moroccan about this.

  2. I ate this when I was in Fez visiting some friends. I loved it soo much! I was so happy to see the recipe on youtube! I made this last night and it was just like the one I ate in Morocco! Thank you for all these recipes and videos! I have happily subscribed!

  4. if you would like to cook meet with raisins check my other recipe in my website or youtube channel called "mrouzia" – it's meat cooked with onions and raisins – but I would not add them to this recipe. For meat I would use mostly parsley and for chicken cilantro 🙂

Thank you Alia I LOVE YOU!!! thank you for everything you do.

  7. Thank you Alia for your generosity. You have helped me a lot to learn to feed my Moroccan husband! By the way his mom's name is Alia too 🙂 I tried this recipe and it turns out better than all my sisters in laws' traditional recipes!

  8. As salaamu alaikum Alia. I tried this recipe last night, and it was brilliant. We have eaten it as a guest at a friend of ours' home (who is married to a Moroccan, masha Allah). My daughters and I loved it, so I decided to give it a try myself. I knew I wouldn't go wrong with one of your recipes, bi'idhnillah. We all agreed that this recipe is a keeper, masha Allah. I even feel comfortable serving this to my Moroccan friends, in sha Allah. 🙂 Baraak Allahu feeki! Ramadan Kareem!

  9. Thank you Alia, now I know what to prepare for eid,my favourite morrocan dish 🙂 Can you also use dried peaches instead of plums or is that another recipe?

  10. I thought that a tajine recipe involved a tajine pot. but I have seen other recipes called tajine and no tajine is used. what is the reason.

  11. Tagine is the name of the pot and through time it became the name of the dish. so it's always a tagine of protein (meat, chicken, or fish) + vegetable.

  12. The recipe is very delicious, I thought that it's very difficult to make such a dish but thanks to you all moroccan recipes are very easy. THANK YOU very much
By the way the music makes me more focused on the video

  13. Ramadan Mubarak Alia!! I was wondering if this has to be prepared in a pressure cooker or if a regular pot would suffice?
