If I could, I would make this every week. It’s seriously that good! A homemade roasted red pepper cream sauce over some penne pasta with Italian sausage is the perfect meal for two. Grocery List:
2 Red bell peppers
1 Yellow onion
5 or so cloves of Garlic
5 whole Calabrian peppers, seeds removed
2 spoonfuls of tomato paste
1 Pint of heavy whipping cream
Pecorino Romano
Parmesan
1 Tablespoon of butter
1 Pound of Italian sausage
1 Box of penne pasta
Olive oil
Dry Wine such as Pinot Grigio or a Blanc
Red pepper flakes, fennel seeds, parsley and salt to taste!
