You are not Italian 😂 I cook green beans inside the sauce with very little tomato sauce or tomato paste ( onion and garlic or fresh spices to pleasure ) They must be veiled in red after cooking not drawn in sauce😮 The taste is exquisite and strong, if done this way, especially the long string beans
I make green beans as you do, in sauce, but I use Classico Pizza Sauce, as it is full of flavor. I also add some garlic powder and a little sugar. I'm way too lazy to make homemade sauce, but my Italian roots love it… Cindy
